Open it in FL Studio, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, GarageBand or any DAW and edit it like any other MIDI clip.

Frequently asked questions

Can I hum a melody and get MIDI?

Yes. Humming and whistling work well because they produce one clear note at a time. Record in a quiet room and keep the phone close.

Why are some sung notes split or missing?

Strong vibrato, slides between notes and breaths can split a note or hide it. The voice setting merges short fragments, but a steady, clearly sung line gives the best result.

Can it separate the vocals from a song?

No — it transcribes what it hears. For a vocal from a full song, first isolate the vocal with a stem-separation tool, then upload the vocal track.

Is it free? Do I need an account?

Yes, it is free and you do not need an account. Each visitor can convert up to 10 files and download 2 MIDI files per day (UTC). Previewing on the piano roll does not count as a download.

What happens to the files I upload?

Your audio and the MIDI result are used only to run the conversion and are deleted automatically within 48 hours.

Can it turn a full song into MIDI?

A full mix with drums, bass and vocals only gives a rough draft. Splitting a whole song into one MIDI track per instrument is planned as a separate feature.
